Steps On Main Tuition Schedule and Pricing

Registering for classes at Steps On Main is a one-year commitment.  Our dance year runs from August 27^th, 2007 through June 21rst, 2008.  In order to obtain the best possible learning environment for our students, we require that students commit to the full year.  This time frame spans 44 weeks.  You are committing to and paying for 36 classes over that 44-week period of time.  The price for the full 36 weeks is $360.00 or $10.00 per class.  All students are required to pay an annual family registration fee of $20.00 in addition to tuition.  Students who pay for the entire year in advance can get a discount of $.50 per class and pay only $9.50 per class. However, if you want to be on the payment plan, here is how it works.  The payments are broken into 10 payments of $36.00 each.  The first payment is due on August 1rst.  The annual registration fee is also due on August 1rst, as well as a deposit of $36.00 and a payment plan charge of $4.00.  This brings the total tuition due on 8/1/07 to $96.00.  Each additional class that the student is registered for requires a deposit, payment plan fee, and first month of tuition.  Registering in September does not absolve students of the responsibility of paying for the August tuition payment.  Late registrants will have tuition pro-rated for the number of actual classes missed, not time passed. 

Every month after August, payments are due by the first of the month.  Payments received after the first of the month will incur a late fee of $5.00 for payments that are under 7 days late.  Payments over seven days late will incur our standard late fee of  $25.00.  

Students, who for whatever reason drop out of a class prior to the end of the year, will forfeit the full $40.00 deposit.  If your child remains registered at Steps On Main for the full year, there is no tuition payment due for May or June, as all 10 payments will have been fulfilled by that time.
